When I purchased a nearly new car in March 2017, I came to a realization. I knew this car was going to be around me for a long time and that I wanted to maintain and protect it as best as I possibly could. I then began my journey into learning how to detail vehicles. As I found myself progressively more interested into what could be done to clean, correct, and protect vehicles, it just hit me: I love doing this! I realized I loved seeing the reaction of a person who I did the job for! That was the moment I realized what I wanted to provide to the world—that moment where you fall back in love with your vehicle all over again. That is why I decided to start Dayton Detailing.
I attended and received my diploma from Detail King’s Craftsman program in August 2017. I spent three days at their facility learning the different processes to detail a vehicle. A few of the lessons we learned were: paint correction, engine compartment cleaning, steam cleaning, hot water extraction, paint chip repair, headlight restoration, and quite a bit more. It was really important for me to attend this course to learn proper techniques and hands on training with professional tools. This was an invaluable experience and I am proud to be a Certified Detail King Auto Detailer.
